Bunches of carrots and vegetables on market stall

Do you like fresh locally-grown carrots, kale and garlic? Mark Thursday, September 2 on your calendar, because that’s when the West Broadway area will hold a Veggie Van Market.

Local produce from a farm on the outskirts of Winnipeg will be supplying the veggies at the special farmer’s market event.

A celebration of everything local, the event will have artisans and crafters selling their wares, talented musicians serenading the crowd, and games for young and old.

The market runs from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 545 Broadway Avenue.
