Apple recently unveiled its revamped version of Apple TV — a digital entertainment receiver capable of streaming content from the Web to your TV.
The little device is completely redesigned, with a smaller case and 720p HD capability. CEO Steve Jobs compared Apple TV to being a little larger than a hockey puck during its introduction in September, which is what many consumers have been using as a comparison ever since.
Early reviews have been mostly positive, but you don’t truly know what you have until you start playing around it. Having had the device for four days myself, there are more pros than cons, and I can say this will definitely be a hot item during the upcoming holiday season. It’s small enough to even be considered a stocking stuffer for any tech lover in your family.
The National Screen Institute-Canada (NSI) recently asked me for an Apple TV review. Read what I thought of it on their website.
