The weather gods will be shining down on southern Manitoba this long weekend, as the forecast promises bright, sunny skies and balmy temperatures.
Friday’s forecast calls for sun and a high of 27°C in Winnipeg, with Saturday climbing even higher with a high of 29°C — perfect beach weather.
Sunday is also looking promising, with more sun and a high of 31°C. When you’d normally be going back to work, Environment Canada predicts Monday to be 30°C with only a slight chance of showers.
Back to work on Tuesday may seem a little difficult, with a high of 28°C.
Although, with warm temperatures creating the perfect environment for thundershowers, pack an umbrella wherever your weekend journey takes you — just in case.
