Winnipeg singer-songwriter James Struthers is holding his official CD release party tonight, just days after releasing his second self-titled EP.
The 22-year-old toured cross-country three times in support of his debut EP, Nadia, and is still finding his way in the Canadian music scene.
James will play in front of a crowd tonight at The Academy, 437 Stradbrook Avenue, before continuing his coast-to-coast tour through mid-September. He also plans on releasing more new material and music videos in the next few months.
Doors open at 9 p.m., with showtime at 10 p.m. Tickets are $10.
