The city will close Logan Avenue at Dee Street to westbound and eastbound traffic on Friday.
The closure is due to railway crossing reconstruction and will be in effect at 7 p.m. until Monday at 6 a.m.
Local traffic will continue to have access to Logan Avenue between King Edward Street and Keewatin Street during the reconstruction.
Winnipeg Transit routes 26 and 77 will be diverted around the railway crossing closure via Keewatin Street, Alexander Avenue, Ada Street and Logan Avenue.
Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternative routes such as Notre Dame Avenue.
