Niakwa Country Club has made a $15,000 donation to the Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation, choosing the charity as the recipient of funds raising from the club’s 2011 Canadian Men’s Amateur Golf Championship.
The donation will go towards transportation costs of three schools who will take part in the True North Hockey Academy.
The Niakwa Country Club hosted the golf championship conducted by Golf Canada during the week of August 8 to 14.
