PHOTOS: Day 4 at the Winnipeg Folk Festival

Saturday capped off the fourth day of the 39th Winnipeg Folk Festival at Birds Hill Park.

Seattle-based indie folk rockers The Head and The Heart performed on the main stage, along with Natalia Zukerman, Todd Snider, Dustin Bentall, and other acts.

Saturday also saw the provincial government inject $650,000 into the festival’s Staging the Future Capital Campaign for site improvements.

Tonight at the festival (starting at 6 p.m. on the main stage): Ruthie Foster, Belle Star, Iron & Wine, Walking Woody’s Road with Mary Gauthier, Jimmy LaFave, Ellis Paul, Eliza Gilkyson and David Bloomberg, followed by the finale with Dry Bones, “Wild Mountain Thyme” sketch, and Carolina Chocolate Drops.
