Prime Minister Stephen Harper will be in Manitoba today, where he’ll make an announcement and then take part in a Conservative Party summer BBQ.
Harper will be at the Lakeview Hotels and Resorts in Gimli at 11:15 a.m. to make an announcement alongside Public Safety Minister Vic Toews, and Selkirk-Interlake MP James Bezan.
Later in the day, Harper will attend a Manitoba Conservative BBQ at the Hitch ’n Post Ranch in Grosse Isle.
Also in Gimli today, the Manitoba government and Lake Line Railroad will announce a new short-line railway in the Interlake.
