During a photo-op with football club stakeholders and dignitaries, the Bombers also addressed a handful of pressing issues on their new digs.

Some season ticket holders have been vocal in recent weeks about obstructed views from their seats. Bombers president and CEO, Garth Buchko, said those views account for 157 seats and the club is working with fans to iron out any concerns.

Buchko said open houses were held in September and fans with blocked views, such as a railing at eye level or other barriers, will receive 50% off their ticket price annually.

The Blue Bombers are also staying close to the $190-million guaranteed construction cost. An additional $2- to $3-million will be absorbed by the club to accommodate for the fan experience and future additional revenue options.

The stadium is expected to be open for the 2013 CFL season.
