Six Winnipeg Blue Bomber players have been nominated to win 2012 Gibson’s Finest CFL Player Awards.
Players were selected by voting members of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC) and the CFL head coaches.
Most Outstanding Player — RB Chad Simpson
Most Outstanding Defensive Player — DE Alex Hall
Most Outstanding Canadian — LB Henoc Muamba
Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman — Glenn January
Most Outstanding Special Teams Player — Justin Palardy
Most Outstanding Rookie — WR Chris Matthews
The East and West Division winners for the awards will be announced on Wednesday, November 7 at 11 a.m. CT.
The league-wide winners will be announced during Grey Cup week at the Gibson’s Finest CFL Player Awards on Thursday, November 22 at Koerner Hall in Toronto.
