Hollywood Limousine Service Inc. has been chosen as the on-demand sedan and limousine provider at the James Richardson International Airport.
The Winnipeg Airports Authority said as part of the new service contract, Hollywood Limousine has committed to a brand new fleet of luxury vehicles and will offset their carbon footprint by supporting the Manitoba Forestry Association.
“Our goal is to provide passengers at the airport with an exceptional customer experience for the duration of their trip, including their ride to and from the airport,” said Barry Rempel, WAA president and CEO. “Today’s travellers have an expectation of services provided at airports around the world and it is our responsibility to ensure they receive the best level of service available in our community.”
On-demand service accommodates walk-up clients who don’t have a pre-arranged pickup at the airport. The new service contract goes into effect on April 16.
Last week, limousine drivers protested at the airport at the Manitoba legislature over proposed contract changes for servicing the airport.
