Police Look for Bike-Riding Sexual Assault Suspect

Police say on June 4 a 20-year-old woman was jogging in Assiniboine Park when a male on a bicycle rode by and inappropriately touched her. The suspect didn’t say anything and kept on riding.

On June 7, a 12-year-old girl was walking with friends in the area of Mount Royal Road and Turner Avenue when a male on a bike passed by and inappropriately touched the victim. No words were exchanged in this incident and the suspect rode off.

Police say the suspect is described as Caucasian in his late teens or early 20s with a small to medium build, short brown hair (brush cut) and a tattoo on his left calf. He was riding a black BMX or mountain-style bicycle.
