The City of Winnipeg is preparing to open swimming pools, spray pads and wading pools for the summer.
Kildonan Park Outdoor Pool will open Friday, with all other outdoor city pools opening June 28. All 10 outdoor pools operate seven days a week, weather permitting, until September 2.
The city’s 16 wading pools will open on Monday, July 1, with the remaining locations opening July 2. Operating hours vary by wading pool, however most are open 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Spray pads will open June 1 and operate from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, with the exception of Vimy Ridge Memorial Park, open 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
