One eastbound lane and two westbound lanes on Grant Avenue are expected to be open by Friday morning rush hour.
A water main repair forced the closure on Grant Avenue from the traffic signals at the Kenaston Village Mall/Superstore east of Kenaston Boulevard to Centennial Street.
Traffic was reduced to one westbound lane Thursday morning to facilitate repair work.
Access to the businesses on the north and south side of Grant Avenue, as well as one lane of westbound traffic, will be maintained throughout the repair.
