City’s Homeless Treated to Christmas Eve Dinner at Siloam Mission

Siloam MissionSiloam Mission is welcoming over 500 people from the city’s homeless community today for its annual Christmas Eve dinner.

The Princess Street shelter is pulling off the huge meal with the help of 110 volunteers. Preparation for the traditional feast include cooking 95 turkeys, 450 lbs of potatoes, 120 lbs of coleslaw and 85 pies.

Additional space will be opened for guests to relax and enjoy entertainment before and after their meal.

Dinner will be served from noon to 2 p.m.
