A single-vehicle crash involving a school bus sent a 26-year-old woman to hospital Friday morning.
The crash happened just before 9 a.m. on Highway 205 west of St. Pierre in the RM of De Salaberry. RCMP say the Red River Valley School Division bus was travelling eastbound at the time when the driver collided with the guardrail on the south side of the Rat River bridge. The impact sent the bus into the ditch, landing on its side.
The female driver, and only occupant of the bus, was transferred to hospital.
Speed, alcohol and visibility have been ruled out as contributing factors in the collision.
