A fire at Kildonan-East Collegiate on Thursday is suspected of being arson.
Emergency crews responded to the high school at 845 Concordia Avenue at around 9:10 a.m.
A fire was reported in a second floor washroom and forced the evacuation of both students and staff. No injuries were reported.
Damage is estimated at approximately $500,000 as a result of the extensive smoke damage to the school and contents.
