Woman Charged After Grow-Op Raid on Main Street

Winnipeg Police CrestA 55-year-old woman was arrested Monday after Winnipeg police raided a grow-op in the 1300 block of Main Street.

A search by police turned up 261 marijuana plants valued at $292,320, 194 grams of dry marijuana worth $1,940, and grow-op equipment worth $14,000.

The woman has been charged with producing a scheduled substance and possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

She was released on a promise to appear.
