Two Winnipeg radio stations will do their part to bring in cash and food donations to Siloam Mission today.
“One Big Day” is the effort of QX104 and FAB 94.3 in an effort to support the Winnipeg homeless shelter. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., both Jim Pattison Broadcast Group stations will broadcast live from Garden City Shopping Centre.
“For us and our loyal listeners to be in a position to do our part in support of a worthy cause like Siloam Mission is its own reward,” said Heidi Rasmussen, general manager of QX104 and FAB 94.3.
In the face of daily challenges, often financial, people turn to Siloam Mission for help in providing the essentials of life and Christmas cheer. All donations received during ‘One Big Day’ will go directly to Siloam Mission to help meet the needs of those they serve this Christmas.
