Siloam Mission Opening Toy Store to Families in Need

Siloam MissionSiloam Mission is opening up its “toy store” over the next three days, treating 114 families to personalized gifts.

Today through Thursday, the Winnipeg homeless shelter will be stocked with new, unopened toys donated to the mission. They are organized and displayed according to age group and gender interest. A total of 319 children will receive gifts, arranged from infant to teen age groups.

Volunteers will assist families pick out an age-appropriate gift that will appeal to their children. Gift wrapping and cards for the gifts will also be available.

In an effort to ensure every child has a gift to open, the toy store helps people experiencing homelessness and poverty provide gifts to their families this holiday season.
