A 19-year-old Winnipeg man died Tuesday after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a vehicle in the south end of the city.
Police say the man was travelling northbound on Waverley Street at around 10 p.m. when he struck a vehicle turning east onto Lee Boulevard.
Police say the motorcycle was travelling at a high rate of speed at the time.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries and later died as a result.
Police are continuing to investigate.
