Paving work will affect traffic this evening near the intersection of Main Street and Redwood Avenue.
The City of Winnipeg says paving will occur between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., with several closures in effect during this time:
- Northbound Main Street to Eastbound Redwood Avenue (access to the Redwood Bridge) will be closed
- Southbound Main Street to Eastbound Redwood Avenue (access to the Redwood Bridge) will be closed
- Eastbound Redwood Avenue (access to the Redwood Bridge) will be closed at the Main Street intersection
- Westbound Redwood Avenue at Main Street will be reduced to right-turn only
Motorists are advised to use the Disraeli Bridge, Chief Peguis Trail or an alternate route in the area, and to allow for additional travel time to reach their destinations.
