A popular book sale to benefit the Children’s Hospital Foundation has set a new record.
The Children’s Hospital Book Market raised $170,000 over the weekend — shattering the $56,000 it raised last year.
“Thank you to the community for their tremendous support, St. Vital Centre for being incredible hosts and to our unbelievable volunteers who manned the stations, worked the cash registers all for the amazing cause of caring for our kids,” said Carol Irving, book market coordinator.
The next Children’s Hospital Book Market will take place April 26-30, 2016 at St. Vital Centre.
