The music will be flowing on the banks of the Red River for another summer as Half Moon Drive In brings back its outdoor entertainment series.
Rockin’ on the Red in Lockport will mark its fourth year, while at the same time raising funds for the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation.
“This fun filled family event is a thank you to our valued customers and community,” said Wayne McIntosh, Half Moon Drive In’s “top dog.”
“Not only does it bring the community together but it helps raise funds for a very worthy organization.”
The three-day festival, running July 15-17, will include musical acts Corny Rempel: Tribute to Elvis, Dreams and Rumors: Tribute to Fleetwood Mac, Four Mile Road: Little Bit of Country, Free Ride: The Beatles and Celtic rock band Dust Rhinos.
The free event will also have activities for kids, with inflatable rides, rock climbing, magicians, face painters, and a petting zoo. Two nights of fireworks will light up the sky, while car buffs can also gawk at the rides lined up in the classic car show.
