All Sunova Credit Union branches will be accepting personal hygiene items and tea for Siloam Mission until July 8.
The supply drive has an emphasis on toothpaste, tea, and tampons, all personal hygiene items and cash donations.
“After touring the mission, we were inspired to get involved in a larger way,” said Vanessa Foster, director of marketing for Sunova.
“The staff at Siloam told us that they’re always struggling for donations of feminine hygiene products. This supply drive is our way of bringing a bit of awareness to that need, as well as helping to collect items to keep the mission’s clients healthy and comfortable this summer.”
Siloam Mission is this year’s recipient of funds raised through the upcoming 11th annual Sunova Golf Classic on June 10 in Selkirk. About $20,000 is estimated to be raised.
