Dauphin Man Robbed After Inviting in Acquaintance

RCMP say a 73-year-old man was robbed on December 13 when he invited a recent acquaintance into his home at around 2:30 a.m. The victim was assaulted and the suspect made off with some cash.

The homeowner was treated for his injuries in hospital.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 40-50 years of age and said his name was Morris. He was driving a light-coloured pickup truck with polar bear licence plates.
