Bell MTS has flipped the switched on new LTE-Advanced wireless sites in two Winnipeg neighbourhoods, as well as in Brandon.
The telecom company says sites in Sage Creek and Wildwood are now active, along with a site on Brandon’s North Hill.
“Residents and businesses in these communities (as well as travelers at the Brandon Municipal Airport) will now have access to enhanced wireless coverage as well as faster data speeds,” spokesperson Jeremy Sawatzky tells ChrisD.ca.
The latest improvements are part of a five-year, $1 billion investment by Bell MTS to deliver advanced broadband networks and services throughout the province.
