Amateur Winnipeg bakers are being sought out to compete in the second season of “The Great Canadian Baking Show.”
Proper Television is casting for the top-rated CBC reality baking series, which begins filming in May.
The show features 10 amateur bakers from across Canada who compete in a series of culinary challenges. In every episode, contestants face three rounds: the Signature Bake, the Technical Bake and the Show Stopper.
Each week the most talented contestant is crowned as the Star Baker, while the weakest baker is sent home. Three finalists then compete for the Great Canadian Baking Show title.
Applications are being accepted online through the CBC website.
