Winnipeg police have named the 38 people charged with impaired driving during the 2017/18 festive season checkstop program.
During the five-week program, 5,231 vehicles were stopped and 106 roadside breath tests were administered. Of those, 10 drivers failed and 17 were given 72-hour suspensions.
Twelve other arrests were made, with 115 traffic tickets handed out.
The average blood alcohol count was 160 mg% (twice the legal limit).
