Goldeyes Shore Up Roster by Signing Outfielder, Infielder

Winnipeg Goldeyes LogoThe Winnipeg Goldeyes have signed outfielder Ty Moore and infielder Matt McCann.

Moore played for two affiliates in the Pittsburgh Pirates’ organization last year, hitting a combined .277 in 113 games for the Low-A South Atlantic League’s West Virginia Power and the High-A Florida State League’s Bradenton Marauders.

McCann, a rookie last season in the Los Angeles Angels’ organization, hit a combined .246 with a .373 on-base percentage. The Princeton, New Jersey native played for four Angels’ affiliates, including a stint with the Double-A Southern League’s Mobile BayBears.

The Goldeyes now have 23 players under contract for the 2018 season.
