TappCar has launched its ride-sharing service in the southeastern Manitoba city of Steinbach.
The Edmonton-based company is rolling out rides in the community a little over four months since it launched in Winnipeg back in March.
“We are very excited to be operating in Steinbach. This community has grown at a rapid pace in recent years and that growth has created a major demand for better transportation options. TappCar is here to meet that demand,” TappCar spokesperson John Morris said.
Morris says TappCar will also provide rides to and from Winnipeg for those who commute from Steinbach.
The TappCar app is a free download for iOS and Android devices.
