A popular winter pop-up restaurant, known for serving gourmet meals on Winnipeg’s frozen river, is heading to the lake.
RAW:almond is extending its table to Riding Mountain National Park this fall for RAW:Wasagaming.
Chef Mandel Hitzer will oversee a 20-course menu on the shores of Clear Lake from September 29 to October 14.
RAW:almond’s Joe Kalturnyk will once again lead the architectural design for RAW:Wasagaming with repurposed wood from the region.
The pop-up concept for the project has expanded beyond the city in recent years, setting up shop in Gimli and Churchill in 2017.
