Santa Bus (CITY OF WINNIPEG)
Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus.
Winnipeg Transit’s annual Santa Bus will be out on the streets for the Christmas season beginning today. Until December 24, all cash fares collected on Santa Bus #142 will be donated to the Christmas Cheer Board.
Last year, $9,624.80 was raised for the organization, which prepares food and gift hampers for families in need.
The Santa Bus features large vinyl graphics of Santa and his reindeer. Riders can find out where the bus currently is using BUStxt and texting “Bus 142” to 287898.
