WINNIPEG — No injuries were reported Sunday morning when a fire broke out in a two-storey home in the 100 block of Jarvis Avenue.
Firefighters arrived on scene shortly after 2 a.m. and began tackling the blaze in the multi-family residence. The fire was well involved when they arrived, with smoke and flames coming from the windows.
Witnesses on scene said they saw two people evacuate prior to emergency crews arriving. A search of the home determined there was nobody left inside.
The blaze was under control just before 4:30 a.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no damage estimates are available.
