A 70-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed while confronting two people breaking into her vehicle Saturday afternoon.
The victim reported to police that someone rang her doorbell shortly after 12 p.m. at her home on Parkton Road in the RM of St. Andrews.
The woman didn’t answer, but later saw a man and woman breaking into her car that was parked in the garage. She confronted the suspects, but was assaulted and robbed before they both fled the area.
She was treated on scene by EMS.
RCMP say there isn’t a physical description of the pair — only that they were wearing dark clothing.

The RCMP is reminding homeowners to be aware of any suspicious vehicles or persons in their area and to report anything of concern to police.
