WINNIPEG — Variety, the Children’s Charity of Manitoba, has been recognized globally as the recipient of a 2018 Heart Award.
The award is recognition of the best operating mid-sized Tent by Variety International and is the second time in three years that the Manitoba arm has been bestowed with the honour.
“We are thrilled and share this honour with the children and families we serve,” said Jeff Liba, Variety Manitoba CEO.
“Their stories inspire us as staff, volunteers, and supporters to create a brighter, more inclusive and accessible future for young Manitobans.”
The award recognizes consistent growth and excellence over a three-year period in programming as well as diversity and sustainability of funds raised.
