The Hoosli Ukrainian Male Chorus is marking their 50th anniversary on Friday with a special gala performance.
The chorus is performing with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and will premiere Zaporozhtsi!, an original suite of selections and adaptations from Mykola Lysenko‘s opera, Taras Bulba.
“Hoosli’s 50th-anniversary gala concert will showcase the full breadth and power of our signature sound,” said Christopher Sklepowich, chair of the board of directors for Hoosli Ukrainian Male Chorus.
“With over 100 incredibly talented singers, musicians, and dancers on the stage, the audience can expect an unforgettable concert worthy of a golden anniversary celebration.”
