RCMP were called to a residence in the community on Amber Drive just after 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
The victim was suffering from life-threatening injuries and was transported to the nursing station where he later succumbed to his injuries. His death is being treated as a homicide.
Chemawawin RCMP continue to investigate.
