Death Deemed Suspicious Following Winnipeg Fire

Winnipeg police are investigating a suspicious death following a fire in the area of McDonald Avenue and Gomez Street early Thursday.

Emergency crews were called to the area at around 1 a.m. and found the deceased victim.

An autopsy is pending and the homicide unit is investigating.
