One person has died following a two-vehicle crash in the RM of Sifton on Monday.

Manitoba RCMP responded to the crash between an SUV and a farm tractor on Highway 21 at around 9:05 a.m.

Police say the crash, located just south of Provincial Road 543, saw the SUV travelling southbound on Highway 21 when the driver veered over the centre line and collided head-on with a northbound farm tractor.

Police determined the SUV involved had been stolen from Winnipeg. The driver, a 31-year-old Stonewall man, was pronounced deceased on scene. The 21-year-old man driving the tractor wasn’t injured.

RCMP continue to investigate.
