WINNIPEG — Manitoba Hydro says that some of its online services will be temporarily unavailable on Saturday, October 5, as the company upgrades its internal systems.

Affected services include customer account management, billing, meter readings, and online power outage reporting, along with the utility’s outage map and mobile app.

Despite the online service disruption, customers can still report power outages by calling 1-888-624-9376, and Manitoba Hydro’s customer contact centre will remain open. Emergency crews will also continue responding to power outages and other calls as usual.

“We appreciate the impact this online service disruption may have on our customers, and we thank you for your patience,” said Scott Powell, director of corporate communications for Manitoba Hydro.

“Manitoba Hydro is continually seeking to improve our customer service levels, and this work is key to those efforts.”
