The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed veteran right guard Pat Neufeld to a one-year contract extension, ensuring the three-time CFL All-Star remains with the team for the 2025 season.
Neufeld was set to become a free agent in February.
Neufeld, 36, is entering his 11th season with the Blue Bombers and 14th in the CFL having started his career with the Saskatchewan Roughriders (2011-2013) before being traded to Winnipeg in 2013. Over his CFL career, he has played 168 games, including 131 with the Bombers.
In 2024, Neufeld appeared in 14 games, starting each one. He was a key factor in the success of running back Brady Oliveira, who claimed his second consecutive league rushing title, and quarterback Zach Collaros, who set a career-high in passing yards.
