Between April 28 and May 1, 2025, the Manitoba Integrated Violent Offender Apprehension Unit (MIVOAU) arrested 10 individuals during targeted operations across three northern Manitoba communities.

With assistance from The Pas and Moose Lake RCMP detachments, as well as Manitoba First Nations Police at Opaskwayak Cree Nation (OCN), officers arrested six people in The Pas and OCN, and four in Mosakahiken Cree Nation and Cormorant.

During the four-day operation, police executed eight entry warrants and conducted numerous residence checks in search of wanted individuals. All arrests were made without incident.

MIVOAU, which includes members of the RCMP and Winnipeg police, continues its investigations.
