In a show of support for those displaced by ongoing wildfires, Dauphin’s Countryfest is offering free general admission, camping, and parking to evacuees from impacted communities in Manitoba and parts of Saskatchewan.
The festival, running June 26–29, 2025, is inviting individuals and families from areas such as Flin Flon, Cross Lake, Lynn Lake, and Creighton, SK, to enjoy a weekend of live music and community togetherness.
“We recognize the immense hardship faced by those displaced from their homes,” said Duane McMaster, president of Dauphin’s Countryfest.
“We hope that a weekend at Countryfest will provide a brief escape and a chance to create positive memories during this difficult period. It’s our way of saying thank you for the support we’ve received and extending a helping hand.”
Evacuees interested in attending are asked to contact the festival office by phone at (204) 622-3700 or email info@countryfest.ca to register. Passes are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Manitoba: Cranberry Portage, Flin Flon, Bakers Narrows, Big Island Lake, Schist Lake, Lake Athapapuskow, Lynn Lake, Marcel Colomb First Nation, Cross Lake, Pimicikamak Cree Nation, Pukatawagan, Mathias Colomb Cree Nation, Sherridon, Snow Lake, Split Lake, Tataskweyak Cree Nation, and Nopiming Provincial Park.
Saskatchewan: Creighton and Denare Beach.
