A 24-year-old woman is in custody after allegedly assaulting three employees at a restaurant in the 1100 block of Main Street on Saturday afternoon.
Winnipeg police say officers were called just before 4 p.m. after the woman began causing a disturbance and attacked staff when asked to leave, reportedly using a key as a weapon. Several patrons helped restrain her until police arrived.
All three employees sustained minor injuries and were treated on scene.
Anika Janae Acoby-Dowan has been charged with assault with a weapon and two counts of assault. She was remanded into custody.
