A 55-year-old man has died after a workplace accident on a construction site east of Hamiota.
Manitoba RCMP say the man was driving a skid steer and had accidentally backed the equipment into a deep hole that had been dug.
First responders were called to the site just after 1 p.m., where the man’s death was confirmed on scene.
RCMP and Manitoba Workplace Health and Safety are investigating.
