Winnipeg police have charged two people following the seizure of a “stockpile” of ammunition in the Spence neighbourhood.

Officers began investigating suspected drug activity in January, and a search warrant was later executed at an apartment in the 500 block of Maryland Street. Police seized approximately 500 rounds of ammunition and drug paraphernalia.

A man and a woman were arrested inside the suite.
