A 29-year-old woman from Dauphin is facing 10 charges after police say she deliberately hit a man with her vehicle multiple times.
RCMP responded shortly after 11 p.m. on Tuesday to reports of the incident on Main Street. Police say the female driver knew the male victim and repeatedly struck him with her vehicle before exiting and physically attacking him. A bystander who tried to intervene was also assaulted.
Both victims were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers located and arrested the suspect hours later.
Charges include attempted murder, assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, uttering threats, and failure to stop after an accident. The woman remains in custody. Her name wasn’t released.
