VIDEO: McDonald’s Literally Shells Out Cold, Hard Cash

To celebrate its Dollar Drink Days promotion, McDonald’s gave away 4,000 loonies near Sylvan Lake, Alberta recently.

The fast food giant embedded the loonies in the shape of its trademark ‘M’ inside 8,000 lbs. of ice. Passersby were tasked with trying to chip out a loonie to get themselves a drink.
