Mona Lisa - McDonald'sWell, it couldn’t stay classy forever. The Louvre museum in Paris — which houses the famous Mona Lisa portrait — will soon have a McDonald’s restaurant moving in.

The new fast food eatery will open next month in the underground shopping plaza beneath the museum.

The plan is to locate it next to a new ticketing area, which means those tourists going on a tour of the museum can get their tickets and Big Mac at the same time.

Museum staff is not impressed with their new tenant, who were quoted as calling it a “disgusting decision.”

In 2007, France became McDonald’s biggest market outside of the United States.
